Whilst Floatation Therapy is excellent for relieving stress, neck and lower back pain... it’s not something you can do during a 15-minute break from work... you can however do so with our Mobiliser.

Every UK employer has a legal responsibility under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to assess the risk of stress-related ill health arising from work activities; and Under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 to take measures to control that risk.

As part of your companies obligation to reduce both workplace stress and musculoskeletal disorders we can provide you with workplace stress busting, back pain relieving massages using the Mobiliser.

The Mobiliser is a medical grade device for spinal mobilisation. Using it’s carbon heating pad and 56 powerful “thumbs” the Mobiliser releases tension within the neck and back; improves circulation; restores movement to stiff joints and encourages the body's own natural healing processes... in less than 15-minutes. Unlike traditional massage it is done fully clothed... making it ideal for the workplace... or prior to floating.

Used by over 300,000 people world-wide and endorsed by the medical profession and major celebrities (free of charge) the Mobiliser has an excellent record of helping people achieve the following benefits...

  1. BulletLess pain, (and usually no pain!)

Workplace Sessions - Why they are CRITICAL

In a report published by the HSE in 2004 it stated that work-related stress and work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are the leading occupational health problems in the European Union.

In the UK, these disorders are the two leading causes for work absence. They state that in 2002 4.1 million working days were lost from work-related upper limb disorders, and 13.4 million working days were lost due to stress-related disorders. These figures are seemingly increasing year-on-year.

Over the last decade there has been a substantial increase in both stress levels and WMSDs in workers who use computers or the telephone for more than 4 hours each day. Research indicates that sustained stress results in increased muscle coactivation (tension) which then increases the loading on the musculoskeletal system.

Furthermore job stress may reduce the ability for the musculoskeletal system to recover during or after work. In addition, central nervous system responses to perceived or real job stress may increase sensitisation to pain stimuli, which in turn creates more stress, frequently with consequences for the employee and their family as well the employer.

Workplace Sessions - How they work!

Our work place Mobiliser sessions work in three ways.

  1. BulletPhysically - The deep warming massage reduces pressure on the musculoskeletal system (muscles and joints in the neck, shoulders and arms) along with the associated pain.

  2. BulletPsychologically - Through reduced stress levels

  3. BulletPsycho-socially - By feeling valued as an employee

Workplace Sessions - Our Requirements

We have three simple requirements...

  1. BulletA quiet private office space or similar with a 13-amp socket

  2. BulletA minimum of 10 employees who wish to reduce their stress / back pain

  3. BulletA commitment to improving employee welfare

It is also helpful if you have car parking available as the Mobiliser is quite heavy.
